    Hi April, You can use the regular Thai fish sauce, but not the fermented preserved Pantai fish sauce. As for me I used a lot of salt instead of fish sauce. I wouldn't recommend you eat the kimchi that you've made with Pantai fish sauce, it's completely different flavour. Hope this help.

    I recently boight Pantai fish sauce & used it to mske kimchi. Then I saw a note on the bottle that said to cook well before eating. Is my kimchi safe to eat? Or do I need to throw it out?
